We had an amazing vegetarian dining experience at Turmeric Indian Restaurant. We ordered Chilli Mushroom, Singapore Noodles, Jain Butter Paneer Masala, Paneer Lababdar, Cheese Naan, and Butter Naan, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic, well-balanced, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The customer service was outstanding—very attentive, friendly, and welcoming throughout our visit. The updates made by the new ownership are impressive; the restaurant now looks spacious, bright, and modern, no longer dark like before. Overall, great food, excellent service, and a wonderful ambiance. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality vegetarian Indian cuisine!

Hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in Louisville and the nearby area. The biryanis are easily some of the best I’ve ever had fragrant, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The Indian curries are just as impressive, rich, authentic, and clearly made with care. If you’re someone who actually appreciates real Indian food, this place is a must-try. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced, not overly oily or toned down. Already excited because their bar is opening next week which is only going to make the experience even better. Definitely becoming my go-to Indian spot in Louisville.

No longer Dakshin. Now open under new name (Turmeric), ownership, management, staff, and menu. We dined there on New Year’s Day and loved it. Plan to go back next week with friends. We ordered the mango chicken curry and the chicken butter masala, with appetizers. All were delicious and served fresh and hot. Spice levels were very reasonable. My wife ordered medium and I ordered hot — both were milder than expected but still wonderful. Garlic naan was fresh, crispy on the outside and al dente on the inside. Perfect. Great service. Great food. Friendly staff. This is our new favorite Indian joint!

There's a lot of flavor through those doors! We enjoyed the small buffet and liked that we could try multiple / different dishes. Food was hot and fresh. Price seemed reasonable. Definitely would recommend if you are interested in trying Indian Cuisine. We will more than likely make the 1 hour drive again.

Turmeric Indian Bistro and Cafe is an outstanding joint within the Louisville Metropolitan Area. The food was very flavorful and had phenomenal texture as well. I personally ordered the onion bhaji, mirach bhaji, and Gongura Lamb Curry. The onion bhaji was very flavorful and the lamb curry was to die for. It was seasoned perfectly and very soft and moist. I recommend any and all people even remotely interested in indian food to try this place out. It's genuinely phenomenal.
